Youth and Student Resources

Exciting Youth and Student Resources

As students return to school after the winter break, we're highlighting two valuable resources focused on youth mental health and substance use prevention:

Idaho School Outreach Services (I-SOS Project): This project supports rural children and adolescents by providing evidence-based suicide prevention strategies, mental health resiliency training, and improved access to care. I-SOS aims to enhance mental health in rural communities by working directly with young people and supporting their communities.

Own Your Future (Substance Abuse Block Grant): This project developed a social media toolkit for rural youth in Idaho to prevent substance use disorder (SUD) and promote mental health. The toolkit includes resources and guidance for adults working with youth, such as teachers, coaches, and clinicians.

We encourage you to explore these valuable resources and utilize them in your work with young people.
