At Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization, Inc. (C-WHO) in Idaho, our technical team has been pushing the boundaries of healthcare data science and machine learning throughout the first half of 2025. As a data scientist and software engineer who joined C-WHO as a full-time contractor in January 2025—following research work that began in July 2024—I’m excited to share some of our groundbreaking achievements and ongoing projects.
Our Flagship Achievement: HIPAA-Compliant AI Integration
Our most significant technical accomplishment to date is the development of what we believe to be the first fully HIPAA-compliant system that integrates any Large Language Model (LLM) to its full capacity while maintaining strict healthcare compliance standards. This internal resource represents a major breakthrough in healthcare AI, enabling direct analytics on population healthcare data and other sensitive information without compromising patient privacy or regulatory requirements.
The system has undergone extensive internal testing by our team, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be sharing details about its production deployment and public availability within the next few weeks. This technology has become the foundation for several spin-off projects across the data science and machine learning landscape, all built using our HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.

We’re building an AI-powered platform to streamline data aggregation and analysis across behavioral health providers and payer networks. This tool is designed to enhance care coordination, drive data-driven decisions, and improve access, quality, and health outcomes at both the provider and system levels.
Population Health Strategy in Primary Care
We are developing an automated population health tool that identifies high-risk, high-cost patients directly within primary care settings. The goal is to empower clinics with real-time, data-informed strategies to proactively manage complex patients and reduce avoidable utilization.
Proforma Tool for Capitated Mental Health Programs
We developed a proforma calculator tailored for capitated mental health programs to improve financial forecasting, track cost of care, and strengthen data capture. This tool helps providers and payers model program sustainability, identify cost drivers, and align resources with clinical outcomes.
